Not at all. But I've actually just started looking into getting some locally grown soybeans. So far I'm just seeing "soybeans" with no type listed, but knowing me I'll obsess over it for months and figure something out lol.
George: Try Bluegrass Farms of Ohio (link http://bluegrassfarmsohio.com/our-soy/ ). They offer six varieties of identity-preserved, non-GMO soybeans grown in the Ohio Valley.
The catch is that both are aimed toward business/large-scale purchasing. It could be worth phoning to ask if they sell in smaller quantities or have a broker/repackager who does. Or maybe you could work out a creative solution!
I just got myself a soy milk maker and would be great if I can get my paws on some heirloom soy beans. Your sharing of amazing food and ingredients really made my day :)
Joyoung’s with covered blades. It’s like a cheap and basic thermomix. I made one batch so far and it tastes good, just not thick/creamy enough. Maybe I’ll tweak the recipe slightly from the ones given on their instructions
Hi Hannah. I left you an email about my subscription. I subscribed several weeks ago and still have not been recognized as a paid subscriber. Will you please check into this for me? I love little soy bean and have been vegan for many years. Thanks, Peter DeWolfe
Those soybeans sound incredible!!
Other than taste and aroma, they’re also SO DARN PRETTY
Truly! Can't wait to read how the miso turns out!
I can't get over these beans... tried searching for US heirloom soybean vendors but only came across seed dealers. Might need to grow them ourselves!
Have you found anything similar in Canada?

Richland IFC (link https://www.richlandifc.com/products/soybeans/) also offers differentiated varieties grown in the midwest, including black soybeans.

Wonderful insight into some foods that are unusual to me! I love that nothing is processed, everything is natural.
